2018 PhotoJournal
As life picks up pace for us, I am now reminding myself to document it all on my camera. Nowadays, it is so easy to just unlock your phone and snap a photo or video and then forget about it. So, amidst the chaos of our life, I try to opt for the more work-intensive option. I recently finished editing all of our photos from 2018 so that I can make our yearly album, and I wanted to share the highlights.
-We moved back to the states and caught up with midwives appointments in preparation for our new baby.
-We found an apartment in a lovely neighborhood in Denver and nested in, creating a home that was perfect for the soon-to-be three of us.
-We went on a nearly two month road trip in our truck to visit all of the grandparents and friends that we could in the Southwest and hit up a ton of National Parks before I was too big and uncomfortable to do so.
- We spent our yearly Fourth of July trip in Nebraska with Trevor’s side of the family.
-Jack was born on July 15, 2018.
- We drove down to Texas for my sister’s wedding in the fall.
-I turned 30!
-We spent Thanksgiving in Key Largo, Florida with Trevor’s family.
-We had our first Christmas together as a family of three!
-We rang in the New Year in Copper Mountain with my family.
As always, we kept ourselves busy and did a fair amount of traveling despite our new addition. This year we hope to maintain and improve our health, finish building out our van, start up some businesses, visit my sister overseas, and possibly add a fourth member to our family! We hope that everyone brought the good memories from 2018 along with them and are starting 2019 with lots of love, hope, and happiness.
