Trevor worked in construction as a heavy machinery operator, and I worked as a hairstylist for my own company. Both of us were specialized within our careers, which allowed us to have the freedom to make our own schedules and set our own rates. We spent around two-and-a-half years working hard, having fun, and saving money for our future travels.
