YES! Although there were moments during the shipping process where we questioned ourselves, having our own transportation/home/kitchen/freedom was the best way to travel yet! We shipped our vehicle in a container from Houston, TX to San Antonio, Chile with very little help, which was a lot of work, but also easier on the wallet. It was about $2500 each way to ship our truck to and from SA. Instead of long and expensive bus rides and flights, we were able to navigate our way through the continent as we pleased. We also slept in our vehicle at gas stations or campgrounds as opposed to hotels and hostels, which was also a more budget-friendly option. Overall, having the freedom to wake up and go where we pleased and stop where we wanted was priceless.
