Last November, our family on Trevor's side was able to come out and visit us for a couple of weeks in Thailand over Thanksgiving. After having rode our motorcycles literally from top to bottom and back throughout the country, we felt like we would be great guides for them. This trip was instantly more fun and unique, also, because our three little nephews tagged along. We started in Bangkok for a couple of days, and then headed south in a rental van that Trevor drove. Being able to drive through a country is truly the best way to get an up-close and personal taste of the authentic culture, which we were so happy to share with our family. We hit up some beaches on the way down, spent a day with elephants, and did a little island hopping. For anyone, Thailand is a great vacation. Getting there, especially from the states, takes a bit of time and effort, but overall, Thailand has so much to offer culturally when it comes to accommodation, cuisine, and sights (and always for a great price!).
